Heroic Win for Desperate Hero

Desperate Hero proved his namesake, to put in a superb run at Hamilton on Sunday, 2nd June. Throwing down the gauntlet to win the 5f Sky Bet Handicap by a defiant 4 ½ lengths, perfectly timed by jockey Callum Rodriguez. 

There was stiff competition from some well-known horses, and Desperate Hero capitalised on his win against some of the same at Goodwood on the 3rd May. We are delighted for owners Norman Court Stud & Partners that everything came together for this impressive 4-year-old gelding by Captain Gerrard.

Jack was thrilled with Desperate Hero’s decisive win, saying “He’s been an improving sprinter for a while now, but this was a big step up and a very impressive performance. We hope that he can move up to ‘Stakes’ company from here and he’s certainly a horse to be excited about.”
