A Winning Seasonal debut for Queen All Star

Queen All Star made a thrilling start to her 2025 campaign at Wolverhampton on Monday the 24th of March for owner Jaber Abdullah. The odds seemed stacked against her on seasonal debut with the filly having to carry a 7lb penalty, drawn the widest on the track and attempting her first run on an all-weather surface. Despite the challenges, the 3yo filly by Holy Roman Emperor dug deep inside the final furlong to see off her rivals and win by a neck over 5 furlongs under a fine ride from David Probert.

This was Queen All Stars first run since August 2024 and the step down in trip combined with the Tapeta surface saw an encouraging starting point for the filly. Jack looks forward to the season ahead with her.

Jack was thrilled with her performance saying, “We were delighted with that performance as she has to give weight away to some well thought of opponents. She has improved physically over the winter and I hope this is just the start to our exciting 2025 with her!”
