The Smiling Wolf Delights!

The Smiling Wolf delighted his owner breeders in the Endless Folly Partnership at Ffos Las today with an eyecatching performance in the six furlong nursery.

Having made an encouraging handicap debut at Epsom a fortnight ago, THE SMILING WOLF blew the house down with a convincing success, leaving his rivals trailing well behind in the hands of West Ilsley’s very own Rose Dawes.

It gave Jack reason to be cheerful. But not totally…..

“That was a tremendous display and you could tell that he loved every minute of it. He handled Epsom very well and only found one too good there but today he relished conditions and is clearly in great heart.

“He’s clearly very handy off a mark of 72 but we’ll have to see what the handicapper does with him now. Hopefully he’ll not be hit too hard but that’s for me to worry about, like it always is. We’re never too far from fearing the worst us trainers are we?”
